There is ample parking available for bargain hunters and those dropping off their goods are asked to do so at the recycling drop off area.  Our staff can assist with both loading and unloading and for those large items; we can also help with a forklift.

Visits to the Re-Use Shop are free-of-charge for customers who are not delivering any general rubbish.

The shop is a great way of ensuring products are being re-used to their maximum potential instead of going to landfill!

The shop is open seven days a week, including public holidays (except Good Friday and Christmas Day) from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  Contact us on (03) 6267 1522.

Chosen big ticket items will now be open to bids from customers at the Re-Use Shop at Barretta.

Selected items will be publish on Kingborough Council's social media channels, and bids will run for two weeks. All bids must be received in person at the Re-Use shop and staff will notify the successful bidder.

Jon Wisbey, Manager KWS, said this is an exciting new initiative, created by staff at the shop. "Staff wanted to give more visitors the opportunity to bid on big ticket items, as they are usually out of the door they day they arrive," he said. "There will only be on big item up for bid at a time and all bids are welcome in the Shop."
